Saying 'goodbye' and 'happy retirement' are bittersweet, especially when it comes to homecare nurse Willa Roberts. Technically, Willa has retired once already, following a long career as a hospital nurse. But she returned to serve our seniors at Piedmont Crossing, and residents and staff have been blessed to know her for the past twelve years. Her kind spirit and warm smile won't be easily forgotten. However, this time, Willa is off to greener pastures – literally! She's heading to her farm full-time to take care of her beloved animals and livestock. We'll certainly miss you, Willa, but we're so very thankful for the service you've provided our residents. Weeks ago, our team began planning a Valentine's Day Dance for our memory support residents! Family members were asked to join their loved ones for the special occasion, and we distributed donated dresses and suits so that our residents could feel transformed for the event and dress to impress.
