Last week, Carl Shatley, an accomplished lecturer and artist – and a regular presenter at Piedmont Crossing – shared with our residents and other community members a fascinating look at the life of Milton Hershey. Not only was Hershey the original American chocolatier, he was also a self-made inventor, businessman, manufacturer, philanthropist and utopian dreamer. The audience came away with a wealth of knowledge about this historical figure, as well as with a sweet reminder of the program! #piedmontcrossing #learnforlife #americanhistory #chocolatemaker ...
