A group of residents recently made a day trip to Childress Vineyards. 🍾 It's a quick drive from Thomasville to Lexington, but the vineyard feels like a West Coast excursion to Napa or Sonoma. 🍷 Our folks sampled a variety of exceptional wines while they were there and enjoyed a delicious lunch at the Bistro, the onsite restaurant and event space. They also spent some time checking out the gift shop. It was a relaxed outing and immensely fun! #PiedmontCrossing #retirementcommunity #seniorliving #fieldtrip #yadkinvalleywine #lunchdate #ncwine #lexingtonnc #thomasvillenc #triadnc ... Last week, our residents enjoyed a lovely evening of music featuring violinist Abigail Wilson. Abigail is a Lexington, NC, native who attends the University of Virginia, and she graced Unity Place with an incredible slate of beautifully performed pieces. Our residents were delighted by the concert, and our dining services team accompanied it with a delicious selection of appetizers and wines. Especially proud was resident Chuck Woodson, who is Abigail's grandfather! Many thanks, Abigail, for sharing your extraordinary talent with us all! #PiedmontCrossing #SeniorLiving #RetirementCommunity #violinist #concert #LexingtonNC #ThomasvilleNC ... See MoreSee Less
